West Coast Servers:Venim's SFO Q4MAX: connect scratch.ts.ssw.cx:28004 Required Files:A full version copy of Quake 4. Quake 4 on Steam and GOG still has functional online multiplayer and there are plenty of servers online to choose from. Additional Files:Q4MAX adds many quality of life modifications to Quake 4 multiplayer such as higher tick rates for smoother gameplay. It is the best way to enjoy this underrated game with your friends. You will also need this mod to join servers specifically running Q4MAX which take full advantage of everything the mod has to offer. As a heads up, if you join a normal server with Q4MAX active on your client, the server will unload the mod and launch normal Quake 4. Attempting to join a Q4MAX server without having the mod files installed or enabled will leave you stuck on a very long downloading screen while the server tries to send you every file piece by piece. So double check your setup. |
